When the Yellowstone brand began its annual limited edition series in 2015, it was framed as a kind of pilgrimage—a yearly exploration of what could be done with Bourbon when heritage was paired with curiosity. Now, in 2025, that pilgrimage arrives at a milestone: the 10th anniversary of Yellowstone Limited Edition. To mark the occasion, Limestone Branch Distillery has teamed up with Ross & Squibb to release a 10-year-old Bourbon that represents both a culmination and a new direction.
A Collaboration Between Two Distilling Legacies
Stephen Beam, founder and master distiller of Limestone Branch, has always treated the Yellowstone Limited Edition series as a canvas for experimentation. For this anniversary bottling, he extended that philosophy outward, inviting the blending team at Ross & Squibb Distillery in Indiana into the process.
The result is the first Yellowstone release to incorporate barrels from both Kentucky and Indiana, a union of two Luxco-owned distilleries whose shared history stretches back to America’s 19th-century whiskey frontier. “We’ve done something different with this special annual release every year since 2015,” Beam explains. “This year’s 10-year anniversary limited edition represents my natural progression of experimenting with blending, using three unique mash bills to create a remarkable product.”
It’s an act of commemoration, yes, but also of expansion—a Bourbon that looks both backward and forward.
The Blend: Three Mash Bills, One Story
The 2025 Yellowstone Limited Edition is built from three mash bills, each aged for a full decade before being married together. Bottled at 52.5% ABV, a number chosen to honor the debut year of the series in 2015, the whiskey promises complexity without losing its grounding in tradition.
On the nose, it reveals vanilla, oak, and a flash of citrus. The palate stretches out into caramel, toffee, stone fruit, charred oak, honey, cherry, and cinnamon. There’s richness, but also a thread of brightness that keeps the experience dynamic—a reminder that Bourbon is as much about motion as it is about memory.
Beam adds: “In partnership with the Ross & Squibb team, we pushed the boundaries of innovation by creating our first blend featuring barrels from the Indiana and Kentucky distilleries – without compromising on our commitment to quality that has kept the Yellowstone Bourbon brand on shelf for more than 150 years.”
Availability and Price
The Yellowstone Limited Edition 10-Year Anniversary Bourbon is limited to 30,000 bottles worldwide, a figure that underscores both its scarcity and its intent as a collectible. It will be available beginning September at retail outlets and directly through Limestone Branch Distillery in Lebanon, Kentucky. The suggested retail price is $99.99 for a 750ml bottle.
A Decade of Annual Pilgrimages
For ten years, Yellowstone Limited Edition releases have carried the torch for a brand that traces its origins back more than a century and a half. Each bottling has been a statement of intent—this one more than most. It’s not just a 10-year-old Bourbon; it’s the physical embodiment of a decade-long experiment in storytelling through whiskey.
And in the crowded landscape of American Bourbon, that story still feels rare.
