Paris’ Cravan Takes Over Sweeties At The Standard, London

Cravan Sweeties

From Friday 24th to Saturday 25th May, Paris cocktail bar Cravan will take over Sweeties, the 10th-floor cocktail bar at The Standard, London.

Parisian cocktail bar Cravan is headed to London for a two-night takeover of The Standard, London’s 10th-floor cocktail bar/discotheque/late-night lounge, Sweeties. Beginning Friday 24th and running through Saturday 25th May, the iconic Paris drinks palace will mix up some of its most famous pours at the Kings Cross hotel.

Cravan’s Founder Franck Audoux will be collaborating with Zoe Burgess, The Standard, London’s drinks consultant, to recreate Cravan’s cocktail list for hotel guests and London connoisseurs, while enjoying views of the London skyline. On Friday, drinks can be enjoyed alongside vinyl sets from Parissa Charaghi and Ben Hauke, whilst on Friday Overjoyed (DJ Gilla & Russ Ryan) will be on the decks with special guest DJ Spinna.

With locations in Paris’ iconic 6th arrondissement and the 16th, Cravan is named after the nephew of Oscar Wilde, Arthur Cravan, a famed dadaist, poet, and boxer. The bars have become some of Paris’ best known, due to Audoux’s exploration and experimentation as he infuses every concoction on the menu with a touch of cultural resonance.
