London’s Equal Parts Appoints New Bar Manager, Jamaïque Ardilouze

JAMAIQUE ARDILOUZA - Equal Parts

Hackney-based cocktail bar Equal Parts has introduced a new bar manager, Jamaïque Ardilouze, to bring a new concentration to the London space’s drinks program

Hackney neighbourhood cocktail bar Equal Parts has brought on Jamaïque Ardilouze as its new bar manager. His introduction brings the space a wealth of experience from London’s drinks scene.

Joining Equal Parts’ owner Michael Sager, Jamaïque’s previous stops include A Bar With Shapes For A Name, Three Sheets, and Kol. He will provide a fresh perspective to drink making alongside his background of bespoke watchmaking and music. His new role at Equal Parts will bring a blend of creativity and precision to the bar.

Having transitioned from a career in bespoke watchmaking to hospitality, Jamaïque’s journey led him to develop his expertise in wine whilst managing the floor at La Carre in Bordeaux. He was drawn to London to refine his craft and immerse himself in cocktail making.

Collaborating closely with Michael, Jamaïque looks to advance the Equal Parts drinks programme offering classic cocktails with seasonal twists using local and underutilized ingredients.

Having also fostered a deep passion for music, Jamaïque will continue Equal Part’s vision to provide high-quality drinks alongside a lesser-known and esoteric funk, soul and cumbia soundtrack. His previous experience in Bordeaux includes spearheading musical projects and promoting vinyl events, fostering vibrant community collaborations with record shops, venues and bars.
