Atlas Launches London Dry Gin To Mark Singapore’s 60th Year

Atlas Launches London Dry Gin

In a city obsessed with reinvention, Atlas has always played the long game. Since 2017, the grand Art Deco bar inside Singapore’s Parkview Square has drawn global pilgrims to its soaring Gin Tower — a cathedral-like installation housing more than 1,300 bottles, many of them rare enough to send collectors into a sweat. Now, after seven years of curating and pouring the world’s best juniper spirits, Atlas has done what only the most self-assured institutions attempt: it has made a gin of its own.

The result is Atlas London Dry Gin, bottled at 47% ABV, and meant to distill the house’s essence into liquid form. It’s a juniper-first expression, structured and crystalline, but layered with citrus, angelica, and soft floral notes — the sort of balance that allows it to stand tall in a stiff Martini and still shine in a sparkling spritz. In other words, a gin that feels like Atlas itself: confident, elegant, and quietly commanding.

A House Spirit Years in the Making

For a bar that has become shorthand for serious gin drinking, the decision to create its own label was inevitable. But inevitability does not mean rushed. Under CEO Vicky Hwang, the Atlas team worked for more than a year with master distillers to refine a recipe worthy of the institution’s name. “We wanted to create a gin that feels deeply connected to Atlas, one that’s quietly confident, refined and built to last,” Hwang says. “It’s a spirit that can carry our house serves while standing proudly on its own.”

The botanicals — coriander seed, orris root, angelica root, lavender, roasted almonds, vetiver, and fresh orange peel, among others — are drawn from the bar team’s years of experience experimenting with gin’s building blocks. The final spirit offers a dry citrus nose, supple mid-palate, and a long, lifted finish.

Designed for the Glass, Not the Shelf

The bar describes Atlas London Dry Gin as “purposefully designed for cocktails,” and the menu reflects that mission. The Atlas Martini, one of the house’s most iconic serves, has been reformulated around the new gin, which gives it a heightened sense of clarity and composure. Elsewhere, the gin anchors a variety of house cocktails, chosen to show its versatility across lighter sparkling drinks and bold, spirit-forward builds.

A Gin Exclusively Available at Atlas

In an era where new gins are rolled out weekly, often with more marketing than meaning, Atlas has taken a different approach. The bottle isn’t destined for supermarket shelves or mass distribution. Instead, it will appear only at Atlas and through the bar’s online shop. A 500ml bottle retails for SGD$98+, while the Atlas London Dry Gin Curated Set (SGD$138+) includes tonic pairing, garnishes, bottled cocktails, and recipe cards — essentially, an Atlas evening in a box.

For Singapore, the launch is more than a product release. It’s a moment that dovetails with the nation’s 60th year, a quiet statement of permanence from a bar that has already secured its place among the world’s most important gin destinations. Atlas London Dry Gin isn’t just another bottle. It’s the distilled philosophy of a venue where every detail — from the height of the ceilings to the thread count of the barstools — has always been about creating something built to last. For more information, head over to the bar’s official website.
