Wyoming Whiskey Honors Acadia with New Bourbon Celebrating America’s National Parks

Wyoming Whiskey Acadia Edition

The distillery’s National Parks: Acadia Edition marks its first whiskey release outside Wyoming—and a tribute to one of Maine’s most iconic landscapes.

There’s a moment—on the winding park loop road in Acadia, just past Sand Beach, where the trees part and the Atlantic crashes into granite—that feels like a hymn. It’s that kind of reverence that Wyoming Whiskey is bottling in its new National Parks: Acadia Edition, the latest in a series of limited bourbons dedicated to America’s public lands.

But this one’s different. It’s the first release in the National Parks series to step beyond Wyoming, a bold expansion that speaks to the shared terrain of conservation, community, and craft. And for Wyoming Whiskey, a brand that distills not just grains but a philosophy of wide-open purpose, Acadia represents more than just scenery. It’s an ideal.

“This one means a lot to me,” said co-founder David DeFazio. “I’ve visited Acadia many times—first with my family as a kid, and most recently last year. It feels right to honor the park, and the people who protect it, with this special bourbon.”

Made in partnership with Friends of Acadia, a non-profit devoted to preserving the park’s natural and cultural legacy, the Acadia Edition reflects that shared mission. As part of the launch, Wyoming Whiskey is donating $10,000 to support stewardship initiatives within the park.

At 98 proof (49% ABV) and priced at $79.99, this straight bourbon is available exclusively at brick-and-mortar retailers in Maine. Its flavor is anything but shy. The nose opens with baked honey crullers, cinnamon sugar and a whisper of orange zest, while the palate leans into almond, cherry liqueur and vanilla whip. It finishes with warming cinnamon, espresso, milk chocolate, and a trace of leather—a campfire story told slowly and well.

As always, the whiskey is made with non-GMO grains from Byron, Wyoming, aged a minimum of five years in charred American oak barrels, and cut with limestone aquifer water. The state’s dramatic temperature swings shape its development, coaxing bold flavors from the barrel.

The National Parks: Acadia Edition is a love letter—not only to the cliffs and sea of coastal Maine, but to the idea that land, like bourbon, is better when shared.

Stay tuned: the next installment in Wyoming Whiskey’s National Parks series is expected this fall. For more information, head over to their official website.
