Elijah Craig is raising a glass to golf’s biggest stage. The Kentucky distiller has unveiled the Elijah Craig 2025 Ryder Cup Limited-Edition Small Batch Bourbon, a bottle designed to celebrate both the return of the Ryder Cup to American soil and the brand’s role as the competition’s Official Bourbon and Worldwide Supplier.
Elijah Craig Toasts the Ryder Cup with a Limited Release
The release marks the start of Elijah Craig’s “Road to Ryder Cup,” a slate of activations that will run from the fairways of Bethpage Black to living rooms across the country. Among those flying the Elijah Craig flag at the matches is Team Europe’s Bob MacIntyre, the Scottish pro making his second straight Ryder Cup appearance as a brand ambassador.
Tasting Notes: A Bourbon Finished with New York in Mind
This Ryder Cup edition leans into New York’s natural heritage. Fully matured Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon was finished with toasted staves composed of 75% sugar maple—the Empire State’s official tree—and 25% applewood. The liquids were aged separately over eight weeks before being vatted together and bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV).
The result is a whiskey that greets the nose with maple syrup and apple pie, then opens on the palate into candy apples and caramel. The finish is warm and lingering, marked by chocolate, cocoa, and a late flicker of pepper to balance the sweetness.
Collectible Packaging
Each 750ml bottle is sealed with a natural cork and gold-topped wood closure embossed with the Ryder Cup logo. A commemorative gift box carries the same insignia, making it a fitting addition to collectors’ shelves and bar carts. The bottle is available nationwide for an SRP of $69.99.
Spectator Experience: Cocktails on the Course
Elijah Craig’s partnership with the Ryder Cup isn’t confined to the bottle. At Bethpage Black, fans will find the Elijah Craig Speakeasy in the Fan Zone, serving signature cocktails. Chief among them is The Mulligan, the Ryder Cup’s official cocktail—Bourbon, iced tea, and lemonade, garnished with a lemon slice and a flag pin to echo a hole-in-one.
“From raising a glass at the Elijah Craig Speakeasy to savoring the moment at home, there are multiple ways for spectators to celebrate,” said Luke Reissman, PGA of America Senior Director of Global Partnerships.
With collectible packaging, a finish tied to New York’s landscape, and a firm place at golf’s most electric stage, Elijah Craig’s 2025 Ryder Cup Bourbon offers fans a spirited way to toast the game.
