California whiskey maker Wolves Whiskey brings back two of their favorite bottlings
California whiskey maker Wolves Whiskey has unveiled two new editions of their favorite bottlings, Winter Run Batch 3 and 11 Year American Single Malt Lot 2. Created by fashion icons Jon Buscemi and James Bond, the new offerings continue to cement the Golden State as one of the US’ top new spirits destinations.
Made from a blend of rye and hop flavored whiskey, Wolves Winter Run Batch 3 matured in a mix of American Oak and used French-Oak with American Oak (Char 3) heads casks. The whiskey offers aromas of cinnamon apples, honey, orange, black cherry, and dark chocolate. The palate delivers hops, molasses, baking spices, citrus, and milk chocolate, leading to a medium-warm finish filled with spice and stone fruit.
The new allocation of the brand’s highly sought-after American single malt whiskey, Wolves 11 Year American Single Malt Lot 2was aged solely in New American Oak barrels. The nose features toasted oats, dried fruit, vanilla, black pepper, and oak. The palate delivers notes of tobacco, caramel, stone fruit, honey, and oats, leading to a long finish that showcases a sweet upfront flavor transitioning to a drying effect on the palate, accompanied by a subtle hint of salinity.
Wolves Whiskey Winter Run Batch 3 runs for $220 per bottles, while 11 Year American Single Malt Lot 2 is priced at $305 For more information, head over to the brand’s official website.
