The iconic Turkish resort has announced a new partnership with Clase Azul México, the celebrated Mexican luxury agave house famed for its handcrafted spirits, to launch an exclusive summer cocktail menu—an ode to craftsmanship, culture, and barefoot luxury.
Launched late last month, this limited-edition menu is more than a drink list—it’s a curated journey into the heart of Mexico, refracted through the Mediterranean soul of Bodrum. Crafted using Clase Azul’s Tequila Plata and Tequila Gold, each cocktail is a shimmering echo of both terroirs, designed to harmonize with the region’s sunlit flavors and the resort’s natural splendor.
Imagine this: you’re toes-in-sand at Blue Beach Club & Bar, the house DJ weaving warm sunset grooves as you sip a Prickly Paloma—Clase Azul Tequila Plata dancing with prickly pear, sparkling pink grapefruit, and a bright cut of lime. Or the refreshing Spa Water, with Plata tequila, orgeat, tonic water, and muddled cucumber, conjuring visions of glistening pool decks and sun-drenched afternoons.
For something moodier, the Tequila Gold Fashioned reimagines the classic with Clase Azul Tequila Gold, sugar, Angostura bitters, and orange peel—a burnished, elegant sipper for those twilight conversations. And for the nocturnal souls, an Espresso Martini featuring Clase Azul Tequila Gold, coffee liqueur, and espresso, a bold invitation to carry the night a little further.
To mark the collaboration, Mandarin Oriental will host an intimate sunset cocktail event on June 25 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Guests can drift through a curated tasting led by a Clase Azul México ambassador, pairing the new cocktails with inspired bites from Head Chef Berk Alpay: Seabass Burgers, fried mussels, grilled octopus, and mini lemon ginger Ruby Magnums—all designed to echo and elevate the flavors in each glass.
Adding a final shimmering touch, Clase Azul will showcase its newest jewel—Clase Azul Tequila Blanco Ahumado, offering guests a rare tasting of this smoky, ethereal newcomer just days after its global release on June 17.
