Auritum (Non-alcoholic) – Hanky Panky

AURITUM

In 2021, Hanky Panky entered the World’s 50 Best Bars list for the first time at number 12, the highest new entry of any bar that year. The bar celebrates Mexico’s traditions and ingredients by using local products, while also getting inspiration from around the world.

Their recently released Passport menu was influenced by the venues’ bartenders’ travels in 2021, when the team decided to overcome the challenges that the bar community faced and brought people together in a time of difficulties, embarking on a series of takeovers. First by opening the doors of their home in Mexico City to friends from the USA, India, South America, and Europe who were not able to work due to their own countries restrictions, and then by traveling overseas themselves.

Inspiration by Auritum: “When you think about oaxaca, you think about the hoja santa. It is a leaf used a lot in traditional Oaxacan food, and some coffee, so we made a drink using that as an homage to the region.”
